Checklist

Please check both your To Do List on OPUS and this list for important due dates and missing documents.

After Receiving your Admission Decision:

• Return option form to Office of Enrollment Services.
• Schedule your campus visit.
• Get connected to Emory online if you haven't already!
• Give your parent or guardian guest access to your OPUS account.
• Begin checking your OPUS "To-Do List" weekly for missing items

February 1

• File CSS Profile if you are applying for need-based Financial Aid
• File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) if you are applying for need-based Financial Aid

March 15

• 2008 Parent & Student tax documents due in our office
• Begin your Housing Application online

 April 1-15

• Financial Aid award notification will be available via OPUS to all students who have a complete financial aid file
• Mandatory student health insurance waiver available online

May 1

• Pay your $375 deposit via your OPUS account in order to reserve your spot for fall
• Notify Oxford and all other schools to which you applied whether or not you plan to attend

May 15

• Faculty adviser survey available online here

June 1 

• Priority housing deadline
• Visa transfer form due for international students who attended a U.S. school previously; a copy of passport, Financial Certification Form, and Statement of Finances due to the Office of Enrollment Services
• Deposit agreement due to Office of Enrollment Services
• Download Emory Email account (Learnlink)

 July1

• Housing assignments available via your Emory email and "My Housing" page
• English placement test available online via your Blackboard account
• Student health and insurance information due to Oxford Student Health Office
• Guest Access granted in OPUS (not required, but strongly encouraged)

July 15

• Emory card picture due

Mid-July

• Tuition bills available online through your OPUS account, you can check OPUS for an updated balance any time after this date.

August 1

• Student employment forms due to office of Enrollment Services if work-study is included in your financial aid award
• Final high school and/or college transcript due to office of Enrollment Services
• Online Vehicle Registration form due to Oxford Campus Police

August 10

• English Placement online exam due

August 15

• Student account bills due to Emory's Student Financial Services office; pay by mail or through your OPUS account online. Click here to view additional payment information.

August 20

• Move-in day

August 20-25

• New Student Orientation

• Registration

• First day of class
