Caldwell Technical CC upends Oxford 71 to 54November 29, 2011
Caldwell Technical CC erased a 7 point halftime deficit of 31 to 24, in the first two minutes of the second half to down Oxford 71 to 54. "This was a game of two totally different halves," commented Coach Stubbs. "We played really well in the first half but just came out flat in the second half." Sophomore Stephen Simons scored a game-high 13 points for the Eagles with 6 rebounds. Zachary Lynn and Kevin Tolbert both added 11 points. Caldwell was led by K.J. Jones with 19 points and 4 key three point shots in the second half. Aaron Bennett had a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds. The Eagles get right back to work versus Anderson University JV on Monday, November 21 in Anderson, South Carolina. |
