Summer School

Summer School at Emory is the perfect opportunity to get ahead and prepare for the next step in your academic career.  Summer School on the Atlanta Campus will take place for first session May 20 - June 28, 2013 and second session July 1 - August 9, 2013.

Maymester is a three-week term immediately following Spring semester (May 14 - May 31, 2013) that will offer Oxford College students the opportunity to engage in intensive academic courses and to earn four credit hours.  Maymester will take full advantage of the condensed term, offering students an opportunity to explore and experience academic subject matter in ways that may not be available during traditional terms.

Students who plan to enroll in Emory summer school should meet with their advisors to plan a Summer School schedule in early February.  Students will need to pre-register for Emory summer school early in order to be considered for financial aid for summer (if available).  Students who have graduated from Oxford College and are eligible to continue to Emory College will be considered Emory College students for eligibility and awarding purposes.  Oxford College does not award financial aid for the summer term to current Oxford College students.   Students must bring their Oxford Summer School on the Atlanta campus pre-registration form signed by their advisor in order for Records personnel to enroll students in Emory summer school.  Summer school pre-registration begins Friday, February 8, 2013.

Records will enroll students for Summer 2013 Semester beginning:

Friday, February 8, 2013 - April 26, 2013                    9AM - 4PM

Records will make changes/additions/deletions for Summer 2013 Semester Summer School until April 26, 2013.  Any enrollment or changes for summer classes after April 26th will be processed via email by sending the form to oxrecords@emory.edu.

Any students who do not pre-register at the specified time above may register on the first day classes.  Registration will be held on the first day of classes on the Atlanta Campus on May 20, 2013 for first session, and July 1, 2013 for second session.  Oxford students may register in the Office of the Registrar (101 B. Jones Center) for their summer classes from 9:00 a.m. -3:30 p.m.  Students must bring their Oxford Summer School on the Atlanta campus pre-registration form signed by their advisor in order for the Registrar's office to enroll students in Emory summer school.
