Rabbi Simcha Weinstein

Rabbi Weinstein serves as rabbi to Long Island College Hospital, is the founder of the Brooklyn Jewish Student Foundation, and chairs the Religious Affair's Committee at Pratt Institute, New York.

Up, Up and Oy vey! How Jewish History, Culture and Values Shaped the Comic Book Superhero, received the Benjamin Franklin Award in 2007.  Weinstein's second book, Shtick Shift: Jewish Humor in the 21st Century was recently published.
