One of the highlights of the commencement ceremony is the inclusion of the Corpus Cordis Aureum, which is Latin for "The Golden Corps of the Heart." This elite group of Oxford College alumni are celebrating their 50-year class reunion.

All members of the Oxford College Class of 1960 are invited to participate in commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 8, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. on the College Green.
Clad in gold robes and with a Corpus Cordis Aureum medallion, the group will march in the processional together and sit at the front of the gathering, in the VIP section. During the ceremonies, the group will stand and be recognized, symbolizing all those Emory alumni who have gone before them. In the long history of Oxford, this is an especially significant ceremony.
More information on how to register will be available on these pages in 2010. There is no charge for participation; it is Oxford's way of saying thank-you to the alumni who have loved and supported Oxford over the past five decades.
We look forward to welcoming the Class of 1960 back to Oxford to celebrate their 50th reunion. Help us live out the adage of Atticus Haygood to "stand by what is good and make it better if we can."
