Progress toward degree completion is tracked on OPUS throughout a student's Oxford career and is verified individually by the College as sophomores approach graduation. Any questions about remaining requirements are investigated and resolved during spring semester, and a final determination of status is made after final grades are posted and grade point averages verified. Students who have completed degree requirements, or who are within 4 credit hours of doing so, may participate in the commencement ceremony. It is expected that students who are 4 credit hours short will earn the remaining credits in summer school.
