Emory University has two wireless services available to connect on the wireless network:
To connect to EmoryUnplugged, a Network ID and Password must be assigned by the university to the end user. To connect as an EmoryGuest, an email address is all that's needed.
The wireless service at Emory University is named "Emory Unplugged." At Oxford College, Emory unplugged covers virtually the entire campus. Wireless network access is a convenient solution; however, by nature it is slower, and occasionally subject to signal interference and service interruption. Consider Emory Unplugged as a convenience when mobility is a key requirement, but connect to the wired campus network whenever possible. To connect, follow the appropriate instructions for your type of computer or download the configuration script at software Express.
