At Oxford College, the rich variety of interesting, fun and worthwhile co-curricular activities provides students with an extraordinary college experience.
From the very first weekof
classes, first year students are invited to take part in college
life. New Oxford
students don't spend a year or two "on the bench!" The fun and
lively fall Club Fair features all of Oxford's
organizations and the sophomore leaders of these groups enthusiastically
recruit new student members. At Oxford, first year
students are starters on varsity athletic teams, leaders in Student Government,
and are selected as lead performers in theater, chorale, and dance. In
short, Oxford
is a place where first year students quickly feel that they are an important
and active part of the campus life.
Student leadership at Oxford is not just a buzz word.
Because second year students function as "seniors," they must be
ready to assume key roles on campus. For
both first and second year students, Oxford
develops student leaders through an assortment of popular leadership programs
of the highest quality.
Since Oxford students are also Emory
students, weekend activity options include on-campus entertainment as well
as events offered on the Atlanta
campus. Each semester, Oxford's
Student Activities Committee (SAC) plans an assortment of band parties, coffee
houses, cultural events, and other fun activities. The free (WiFi)
shuttle takes students to and from the Atlanta
campus each day, so that Oxford students may
choose among on campus activities, Atlanta
campus events, as well as social/cultural/recreational events in the city of Atlanta.

to get professors more involved with their students’ career decisions and
mentoring incoming Goizueta juniors.
