2026 Celebration of Scholarship and Creative Expression

On April 17, the Oxford community will once again come together to recognize innovation, research, and creativity across disciplines at the annual Celebration of Scholarship and Creative Expression (CSCE) event, highlighting the academic, artistic, and collaborative achievements of Oxford’s faculty, staff, and students.

Marking 21 years since launching in 2005 as Inspired PerformanceCSCE featured faculty and staff bodies of work ranging from published articles, conference papers, and other pedagogical initiatives. “CSCE was always intended as a celebration, a way to say to our trusted colleagues and students, ‘Well done!’ while celebrating the end of another successful academic year!” Says Ellen Nuefield, Library Director. The event later merged with the student showcase program to become CSCE under the Oxford Library’s sponsorship. With the addition of the student showcase, students now had the opportunity to present their research projects in collaboration with a faculty mentor.

This year's celebration featured work from nearly 30 faculty and staff members, 21 student co-authors and co-presenters, and over 100 submissions across all formats, marking another exciting year of partnership and creativity.

The enthusiasm and CSCE's support create a nurturing environment that celebrates Oxford's creativity and highlights each contributor's talents.
