Roderick Stubbs named NJCAA Athletic Director of the Year
Congratulations to Coach Roderick Stubbs, who has been named NJCAA Athletic Director of the Year!
As Athletic Director at Oxford College, Coach Stubbs has led the department to remarkable success while keeping student‑athlete development at the center of everything he does. Under his leadership, Oxford athletics has earned 24 national championships, produced hundreds of academic and NJCAA All‑Americans, and maintained a 3.0+ average GPA across every varsity team for more than a decade. “This honor reflects years of steady leadership, thoughtful decision-making, and a deep commitment to doing what is best for both the program and our athletes. Having worked alongside Rod for many years, I’ve always admired his calm demeanor and the way he leads with care and integrity,” says Amanda Yu-Nguyen, Director of the Center for Healthful Living. “I’m grateful to see his impact celebrated at the national level."Stubbs’s leadership, commitment to excellence, and dedication to students have made a lasting impact—one now recognized at the national level.
