Kerith Pocock, director of student health at Oxford College, has been named a 2026 Emory University Award of Distinction honoree, recognizing her exceptional leadership in advancing student well-being, clinical care, and campus-wide health innovation.

Amid rising post-pandemic demands, Pocock ensured uninterrupted care while leading transformative initiatives—from implementing a new electronic health record system to establishing standardized triage and depression-screening protocols—that have strengthened coordination, early intervention, and the overall student experience. She was honored alongside 14 staff members at an April 14 reception celebrating the university’s highest staff award for outstanding contributions to the Emory community.
